You may link to any page here. You may quote a short passage with attribution and a link back to the page it came from.

You may not republish the explanatory content of this site — the guides, the worked examples, the limitations sections — in whole or in substantial part, on another site or in another product, whether or not you credit us. This includes reproducing it as training data output, as a scraped mirror, or as a lightly reworded version.

You may not attempt to disrupt the site, probe it for vulnerabilities without permission, or scrape it at a rate that degrades it for other people. If you want bulk access to something here, ask.

You may not present results from this site as professional advice, or as endorsed by us in a product of your own.

Accuracy, and the absence of a warranty#

We take accuracy seriously. Formulas are taken from primary sources, checked by hand, and cited on the page, and our editorial policy describes how that works.

Even so, this site is provided "as is". We do not warrant that every calculation is free of error, that the site will always be available, or that any result is suitable for your particular situation. Standards change, sources are revised, and software has bugs.

Check anything that matters. If a number here will inform a medical decision, a loan you are about to sign, a tax filing, or anything else with real consequences, verify it independently and speak to a qualified professional. The disclaimer covers this in more detail.

Limitation of liability#

Intellectual property#

The written content, the design, and the code of this site belong to MegaTools, except where stated otherwise.

Formulas themselves are not owned by anyone — you cannot copyright the equation for compound interest, and we make no claim to. Our expression of it, the explanation around it, and the worked examples are ours.

Third-party trademarks mentioned on the site belong to their owners and are used descriptively.

Links to other sites#

Pages here link to external sources — health authorities, standards bodies, research papers — so you can verify what we have written. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.

Advertising#

This site carries display advertising served by Google. Advertisements are not endorsements. We do not control which advertisers appear, and an ad next to a calculator says nothing about whether the advertised product is a good choice for you.

Changes#

We may update these terms. The date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed, and continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised version.

Governing law#

These terms are governed by the laws of India, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Gujarat, India. This does not remove any protection available to you under the mandatory consumer law of the country where you live.
