How it works
GSA sets location-specific lodging caps and meals and incidental expense rates. Lodging excludes taxes. The first and last travel days use GSA’s published 75% M&IE amounts.
A one-night trip at the standard rate permits $215.00 before any meal deductions. Use the calculator for exact seasonal and fiscal-year changes.
Frequently asked questions
What if my city is not listed?
Check the county coverage; a listed county may cover your city. Otherwise, a CONUS location uses the standard rate.
Are Alaska and Hawaii included?
No. GSA CONUS covers the contiguous states and DC. DoD publishes OCONUS rates.
Do rates include lodging taxes?
No. Confirm separately reimbursable taxes with your agency.
