How it works
Each night uses the published GSA cap for that date. Checkout has no lodging allowance. Both departure and return days use the published first/last-day M&IE amount, with full deductions for government-provided meals.
Example: a one-night standard trip in FY2027 allows $113.00 lodging plus $51.00 M&IE on each travel day: $215.00 before meal deductions or actual-cost adjustments.
Frequently asked questions
What dates are supported?
October 1, 2025 through September 30, 2027. A trip cannot use rates from an unpublished period.
Can I deduct provided meals?
Yes. After your first calculation, select government-provided meals for each date and calculate again.
Is this an approved reimbursement?
No. Your agency determines eligibility, actual allowable expenses, and any exceptions.
